That morning was still very early when I hurried to the meeting point. The clock showed 6 AM, and the surroundings were still quiet. I had prepared everything the night before, ensuring nothing was left behind. When I arrived at the designated place, friends began arriving one by one.
We gathered at the Gelam gas station in Sidoarjo at 6:30 AM. Familiar faces looked enthusiastic, although eyes were still a bit sleepy. Laughter and jokes started to warm up the chilly morning. After everyone in the group was complete, we decided to set off.
At exactly 7 AM, we began our journey to our main destination, KFC Soekarno Hatta in Malang. The relatively short trip was filled with high spirits.
Arriving at KFC Soekarno Hatta Malang at 8:30 AM, we were immediately greeted by the enticing aroma of fried chicken. But before enjoying the meal, we had a photo session with a photographer who was already prepared. We posed with joy, capturing these rare moments of togetherness.
After the first photo session, we quickly went inside the restaurant to eat together. KFC meals tasted even better when enjoyed with friends. The atmosphere was filled with laughter during our breakfast. After our stomachs were full, we had another group photo session, this time with more relaxed and playful poses.
At 11 AM, we continued our journey to one of our friend’s houses. Half an hour later, we arrived at our friend's home. There, we took a break and enjoyed lunch that had been prepared. The warm and friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home.
After a sufficient rest, at precisely 2 PM, we decided to head back to Sidoarjo. The journey home felt more serene, perhaps because we had used up quite a bit of energy. One by one, friends began to return to their respective homes.
Finally, I arrived home at 3:30 PM. A mix of tiredness and satisfaction filled my heart. That day, the camaraderie with friends became a precious moment that will never be forgotten. We had already promised to repeat such a trip in the future.
